Today, even though it’s Sunday, NATO’s surveillance activity in the Black Sea area hasn’t stopped.

Two US assets monitored the area today. The first is a USN Boeing P-8A, which conducted a standard mission orbiting over the mouth of the Danube.

The second is a USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (registration 11-2046 – callsign FORTE10), which is currently (19:00 CET) orbiting over the Black Sea south of occupied Crimea.

Both aircraft took off from NAS Sigonella.
