Today we have seen considerable movement of Turkish assets toward Libya.
A Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T (reg. 13-004), which took off from Konya AB orbited, as it did last week, south of Malta.
Meanwhile, a pair of Turkish Air Force Airbus A400Ms (reg. 13-0004, 13-0009) which took off from Ankara headed toward the Libyan base of Al Watiya following an unusual route.
Usually Turkish aircraft flying to Libya head over the eastern Mediterranean and then, avoiding the Greek FIR, move westward volnado in international airspace. In this case invee the two aircraft bypassed Greece from the north entering the airspace of Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania and Italy
