New USNavy mission off Tripoli

While the whole world watches what happens in Ukraine, USNavy activity continues in other theatres of operation.

Yesterday morning a USNavy Lockheed EP-3E “Aries II” ( reg. 160764) departed from Souda Bay AB is making an usual SIGINT (Signals intelligence  is intelligence-gathering by interception of signals, whether communications between people or from electronic signals not directly used in communication) mission off Tripoli and western Libya.
