New day of surveillance missions

While tension (seems) to be slightly decreasing in Ukraine, surveillance missions remain present in the country’s skies.

The mission of an USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 04-2015 – callsign FORTE11) that left NAS Sigonella yesterday afternoon over the northern part of the country is still ongoing.

Also this morning, a USAF Boeign RC-135V (reg. 63-9792 – callsign HOMER31) departed from Souda conducting a surveillance mission over the Black Sea off the Crimean peninsula.

Yesterday we also tracked a NATO Global Hawk (reg. MM-AV-SA0018 – callsign MAGMA) in action over the Black Sea, but once in the area of operations the drone turned off its ADS-B receiver and so we don’t know if it is still in the area (probably it is).
