“HOMER” off Libya

Today we’re tracking a new interesting surveillance mission made by an USAF Boeing RC-135U “Combat Sent” (reg. 64-14849 – callsign HOMER41) departed at 07:45 CEST Souda Bay AB.

The aircraft left Crete southbound and performing its mission over the Gulf of Sirte and then off the coast of Tripoli making different pass (descending to 8.000 ft) off Khoms.

The Boeing RC-135U Combat Sent is designed to collect technical intelligence on adversary radar emitter systems.
