The Turkish airlift to Libya continues this morning but today in the area there another guest, an USAF plane.
Two Turkish Air Force Airbus A400M (reg. 17-0078 & 18-0093 – callsign TUAF219/220) left this morning Konya AB for Libya and a third A400M (reg. 18-0094 – callsign TUAF221) left Izmir for the same destination.
The first plane landed in Al-Watiya AB, southwest of Tripoli, around 12:00 CET.
Meanwhile off Libya is operating an USAF Boeing RC-135U (reg. 64-14849 – callsign LARD53) departed from Souda Bay AB. The US plane is monitoring the area of Tripoli, Benghazi and Sirte. It is the second mission in a week. The last mission was made on 25 november (click here for details)
