Delivery of Indian Air Force Rafales started

A French Air Force Airbus A330MRTT (reg. 042, callsign FAF4063) departed from Istre AB, southern France, is in flight over eastern Mediterranean Sea.

The aircraf is flying with the first batch of five Bharatiya Vayu Sena (Indian Air Force) Dassault Rafales took off from Bordeaux/Merignac (France).

The aircraft will make two stops on the way to India, with the second stop at Al Dhafra (United Arab Emirates). The Rafales are expected to arrive at Ambala Air Force Station (state of Haryana, India) on Wednesday 29 July 2020.
