New Italian transfer flight to Nevada

In these minutes a new flight is in progress for Italian Air Force aircraft to partecipate in Red Flag exercise in Nevada, USA.

Two Boeing KC-767A (MM62228, MM62229) left Pratica di Mare AB and after an aerial refueling off eastern Sardinia are now in flight to Lajes AB, air base located on Terceira Island in the Azores, Portugal. With the two tankers are in flight also 6 Italian Eurofighter Typhoons from Gioia del Colle AB.

At the same time also an Italian Lockheed Martin C-130J (MM62178) left Pisa San Giusto AB for Lajes.

On Friday we’ve tracked a similar flight but with 6 Italian F-35A from Amendola AB.
