Unidentified German aircraft to Libya

This morning, around 8AM, local time, a German Air Force unidentified aircraft left Trapani Birgi AB southbound. We had not enough data to define the model but its callsign (GAF144) was used in the past by a Transall C-160D.

The track was lost in the middle of the Strait of Sicily when the aircraft was flying southbound at 20k feet.

We don’t know where the aircraft was landed but it seemed to be directed to Libya.
