An intense aerial surveillance activity has been recorded today in the Black Sea area.
At least three assets are involved:
- Boeing E-3CF of the French Air Force (Armée de l’Air et de l’Espace), with registration number 702-CA. This aircraft is an AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System), specialized in detecting and tracking aerial and naval targets, as well as coordinating military operations.
- Gulfstream E550 CAEW of the Italian Air Force, with registration MM62293. This is an early warning and control aircraft, used for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, featuring advanced data collection and real-time transmission capabilities.
- Boeing RC-135W of the British Royal Air Force (RAF), with registration ZZ665. This aircraft is a strategic asset for electronic and communications intelligence (SIGINT/ELINT), capable of gathering information on radar signals and enemy communications.
