FORTE ends the year in the Baltic region

Last mission of the year for FORTE. The USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 11-2046 – c/s FORTE11) took off yesterday from NAS Sigonella to carry out a SIGINT mission in the Baltic region.

The drone spent a significant amount of time orbiting over Estonia, allowing it to monitor the area around St. Petersburg.

Such missions have become quite frequent, especially since USAF drones ceased operations over the Black Sea, focusing instead on the Baltic region or, more sporadically, the Red Sea.
