FORTE’s Red Sea mission?

On Sunday, we managed to track part of an intriguing mission. A USAF Northrop RQ-4B (registration 11-2046, call sign FORTE10) took off from NAS Sigonella, conducting what appears to be a mission in the Red Sea area. As seen in the image, the last trackable position is indeed over the Red Sea, off the coast of Saudi Arabia.

It’s worth mentioning that this area is heavily affected by jamming signals, which might cause some inaccuracy in the exact location.

However, this is not the first time we have tracked missions of this kind, so we can reasonably assume that the mission likely took place in the Red Sea.

The drone took off from Sigonella around 7:00 PM CET on November 3rd and returned to the Sicilian base at 11:00 PM the following day, after approximately 28 hours of flight.
