Weird mission to Rzeszów

For a few weeks now, flights have resumed between Italy and Rzeszów, Poland, the hub where all Western aid for Ukraine arrives. There’s nothing unusual in documenting two rotations in the same day for an Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767A (registration MM62228).

What makes this day unique, however, is that before completing two separate flights to Rzeszów, the aircraft made a stop in Eindhoven and then continued to Poland. On Saturday, the 25th, the Italian aircraft completed the following flights:

  • Pratica di Mare – Eindhoven
  • Eindhoven – Rzeszów
  • Rzeszów – Pratica di Mare
  • Pratica di Mare – Rzeszów
  • Rzeszów – Pratica di Mare

What was loaded in the Netherlands remains unknown
