Mission in Benghazi

Share
Share

Unusual mission today for an Italian Air Force Lockheed C-130J (reg. MM62179).

After taking off this morning from Pisa San Giusto AB, the aircraft headed to Benghazi, Libya—a rare destination since Italian aircraft bound for Libya usually go to Tripoli or Misrata.

The Hercules, after staying in Benghazi for about an hour (we don’t have the complete flight path), took off for Decimomannu AB near Cagliari, and then departed for Pisa.
