Intense NATO Activity in the Black Sea: Surveillance Missions and Maritime Patrols Underway

Today, NATO activity in the Black Sea remains active. Meanwhile, a US Air Force Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (registration 11-2046 – callsign FORTE12) is returning to NAS Sigonella after conducting a SIGINT mission over the eastern Black Sea, while other missions are ongoing.

A Turkish Navy ATR P-72MPA (registration TCB-752 – callsign MARTI12) conducted maritime patrol activity along the routes leading to the Bosporus.

Two US Navy Boeing P-8A aircraft are relieving each other in the surveillance area of the Danube Delta, while an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (registration MM62303) is orbiting over eastern Romania
