While Ukraine attacked and sank a Russian corvette in the Black Sea overnight, NATO surveillance missions continue in the area.

This morning, there are at least two assets conducting SIGINT missions in the area. A USAF Boeing RC-135W (registration 62-4134 – callsign JAKE17), after being refueled by a USAF Boeing KC-135R (registration 59-1475 – callsign HOBO21), is currently orbiting over eastern Romania.

Also orbiting in the area, approximately over the Danube Delta, is a USN Boeing P-8A that took off earlier today from NAS Sigonella
