Today in Kiev, the G7 summit took place, and Rzeszow airport, in Poland, experienced a significant military traffic.

Rzeszow is the designated airport for all aid to Ukraine and is the airport used by all heads of state when traveling to Ukraine, being located just a few miles from the Ukrainian border. This afternoon, we tracked three flights departing from the Polish airport bound for Italy, France, and the United Kingdom:

  • A RAF Airbus KC.3 (reg. ZZ332) landed around 4:00 PM at RAF Brize Norton.
  • A French Air Force Airbus A330MRTT (reg. F-UJCH) landed around 5:00 PM at Istres AB.
  • An Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767A (reg. MM62226) is now en route to Italy after departing from Pratica di Mare AB, with an (unusual) stopover at Decimomannu AB.
