Currently, there are 9 Italian ships located outside the Mediterranean, let’s see where:

  • The frigate Luigi Rizzo (F595) is deployed in the Baltic Sea and until a few days ago was stationed at the port of Świnoujście, Poland.
  • The aircraft carrier Garibaldi (C 551) (without the fixed-wing component) and the LHD San Giorgio (L9892) are in the Atlantic off the Spanish coast, participating in the Marfibex24-1 exercise.
  • Patrol boats Staffetta (P408), Vedetta (P407), and Sentinella (P407) are in the Red Sea (Multinational Force and Observers Sinai mission)
  • The training ship Amerigo Vespucci (A5312) continues its round-the-world voyage and is currently in La Plata, Argentina. The ship will resume its round-the-world journey in March.
