This afternoon, we are tracking two U.S. assets conducting surveillance missions in the Eastern Mediterranean.

A Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (registration 09-2039, callsign FORTE16) has taken off from NAS Sigonella and is conducting a SIGINT mission off the coast of Lebanon (this is the third mission of this kind that we have tracked in the past few days).

Also taking off from NAS Sigonella is a U.S. Navy Boeing P-8A, which is currently orbiting south of Cyprus, carrying out a surveillance mission in the area.
