An USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 10-2045 – c/s FORTE10) is carrying out a surveillance mission over eastern Mediterranean Sea.

The drone, departed from NAS Sigonella, is operating off the coast of northern Lebanon, just outside the Beirut FIR, and off southern Syria. Since the beginning of the Gaza crisis, surveillance missions in the area have increased, and it is not the first time that Global Hawks based in Sigonella have been used as well.
