In response to the rising tensions in the Middle East and in support of Israel, the United States has announced the deployment of additional air assets to the region.

At this time, an USAF Boeing KC-135R (reg. 63-8888) is flying over Sicily, followed by a McDonnell Douglas F-15E (reg. 96-0201) that is traveling with other F-15s with their transponders turned off.

A little south of Marseille, another KC-135R (reg. 63-8874) is flying, likely with other USAF assets.

The final destination of the flights is expected to be Jordan.
