Today, a RAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster (reg. ZZ172) departed from RAF Brize Norton and landed in Benghazi (12:18 CEST).

After leaving Benghazi, the aircraft then headed to Misrata, and after a stopover of just over two hours, it departed (around 17:00 CEST) for RAF Akrotiri on the island of Cyprus.

This is not the first time we have tracked flights of this nature, although we have never been able to determine the cargo being carried.
