This morning, there have been at least three surveillance missions on the eastern flank of NATO.

Two of the missions were conducted by NATO assets over Romania. One of them involved a NATO Boeing E-3A (registration LX-N90451), which patrolled the Danube Delta area. The other mission was carried out by a US Army Bombardier CL-60 ARTEMIS (registration N488CR – callsign BRIO68), which flew along the border with Moldova and Ukraine.

Additionally, on the eastern side of Poland, a Swedish Air Force Gulfstream S102B Korpen (registration 102002) was in operation. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Swedish surveillance assets have been working closely in collaboration with NATO forces.
