This morning we recorded several air movements over the southern Tyrrhenian Sea, related to training activities.

The Italian Air Force is participating with a Boeing KC-767A (reg. MM62228 – callsign BREUS71) and a Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293) departed both from Pratica di Mare AB. The USAF sent a Boeing KC-135R (reg. 58-0016) from Spangdahlem AB.

There are definitely some fighters in the area, both Italian and USAF, but they are not shown on air tracking sites.
