In the Black Sea theater this morning we record two different surveillance missions operated by NATO assets.
The first, carried out in part over the Black Sea off the Danube Delta, is being carried out by a UsNavy Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 159887 – c/s RAINER15) that took off from Souda Bay AB. Usually this type of mission is always operated in the area but entirely on land.
Second mission is that of a Turkish Navy ATR P-72MPA (reg. TCB-751 – c/s MARTI92) that is flying over the western part of the Black Sea. The aircraft is operating over international waters off the Bulgarian, Romanian and Turkish coasts.
See? They don’t cross the line now. 😉 Well done. All this things are just a 1st steps. Look fwd.
Your posts are full of excellent information that saves me time, especially recently. I like to know when the B52s have been up but I can’t watch flight radar all the time. Same with all the other aircraft types out and about these days. 👍😀
