This morning a USNavy Boeing P-8A, departed from NAS Sigonella, operated for a long time (between 9:00 and 12:00 CET) over the Ionian Sea.

The Poseidon operated at an altitude between 12,500 and 25,000 feet.

No Russian Navy surface units were reported in the area, while the Carrier Strike Group of the US aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) is sailing in the southern Adriatic.
