Unusual situation off the Libyan coast these days.

Yesterday we tracked a SIGINT mission off the coast of Cyrenaica, today new unusual movements in the area.

This morning a NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4D (reg. MM-AV-SA0015), which took off from Sigonella, made a surveillance mission off eastern Libya.

At the same time, the USArmy Bombardier CL-60 ARTEMIS (reg. N488CR – callsign BRIO68) was carrying out a mission similar to yesterday’s off the coast of Cyrenaica.

In the same area a USN Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 159893) carried out a SIGINT mission.

Finally, this morning, a US Department of State Bombardier DH-8C (reg. N568AW) landed in Bengazi from Tunis (and departed around 09:15 CET).
