NATO missions in the south eastern flank

There are at least two surveillance missions planned for this early afternoon in the Black Sea area:

  • a NATO Boeing E-3A (reg. LX-N90446 – callsign MAGIC11) is leaving Romanian airspace after orbiting over the eastern part of the country;
  • a USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 10-2045 – callsign FORTE10) is carrying out a surveillance mission over the Black Sea south of Crimea
