New Middle east missions

In the past few days we have seen aย number of surveillance missions carried out at the same time over the eastern Mediterranean and northern Iraq.

Today we are tracking similar missions.

Two USAF RC-135s are performing this morning two separate (but related) surveillance missions:

  • USAF Boeing RC-135U (reg. 64-14849ย โ€“ HOMER11)ย flying over the eastern Mediterranean off Syria, departed from Souda Bay AB
  • USAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. 62-4121)ย flying over northern Iraq near the Syrian border
