Numerous surveillance missions are underway on the entire eastern flank of NATO.

From north to south:

  • USArmy Bombardier CL-60 ARTEMIS (reg. N488CR – callsign BRIO68) over Poland near the borders with Belarus and the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad;
  • NATO Boeing E-3A (reg. LX-N90452 – callsign MAGIC1) over eastern Poland;
  • USAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. 62-4138 – callsign JAKE11) over Romania;
  • USNavy Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 159893) over the Danube Delta;
  • NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4D (reg. MM-AV-SA0014) over the Black Sea area
