A new surveillance mission of an RAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. ZZ664) is taking place this afternoon.

In this case, the aircraft is operating over eastern Romania and not over the Black Sea and therefore, unlike previous times, there are no RAF fighters escorting the aircraft.

It is worth noting the route followed by the aircraft, which passed near the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad and the border of Belarus, before heading towards Romania.
