New mission over the eastern Mediterranean for a Turkish Navy ATR P-72 MPA.

The aircraft (reg. TCB-752 – callsign TURNA35) took off from Dalaman and headed east where it orbited long and low to the east of the Greek island of Kastellorizo.

The ATR then continued its flight southwards orbiting west of the island of Cyprus.

Currently (12:45 CEST) TURNA35 is in flight between Cyprus and Crete.

Almost the entire flight took place in the Athens FIR and the Nicosia FIR. The aircraft, however, never entered Greek airspace.
