Busy begin of the week in the European skies. Several NATO aircraft are in the air to carry out various missions in the Black Sea area:
- an USAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. 62-4138 – callsign HOMER11) departd from Souda Bay AB is carrying out a surveillance mission over eastern Romania ;
- an USAF Northrop Grumman (reg. 11-2045 – callsign FORTE10 ) departed from NAS Sigonella is orbiting over the Black Sea south of Crimea;
- an USNavy Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 159893) is carrying out a surveillance mission over Danube’s delta;
- an US Army Bobardier 650 ARTEMIS is carrying out a mission near the Romanian border with Ukraine and Moldova;
- a USNavy Boeing P-8A is back to NAS Sigonella after a surveillance mission over eastern Romania
