French Navy Falcon 50 (reg. 132) has departed this morning at 10:12 CEST from NAS Hyères to perform a central Mediterranean sea mission.

The aircraft is operating as IRINI asset. The IRINI’s core task is the implementation of the UN arms embargo on Libya through the use of aerial, satellite and maritime assets.

This is not the first time we have tracked a flight like this, but usually once in the area of operations the French Falcons switch off the ADS-B transponder. This time, however, the entire flight was fully tracked.

The aircraft then landed at NAS Solenzara, Corse, at 15:33.
