Italian trip to Algeri

An Italian delegation, led by Prime Minister Mario Draghi, is flying to Algiers on board two Italian Air Force Airbus A319CJs (MM62174 & MM62209).

Several Italian ministers will take part in the meeting, which will have as its main focus energy issues but also industrial ones.

As was the case during the recent visit to Turkey, the Italian delegation is travelling with two aircraft, instead of one, because the Italian Air Force does not have any aircraft larger than the A319.

The two A319s used in today’s trip can carry a maximum total of 86 passengers (50 passengers for MM62174 and 36 for MM62209).
