Intense aerial activity over the Danube delta, eastern Romania.

They are operating in the area:

  • a pair (?) of USAF Lockheed F-35A “Lightning” (the only one visible is reg. 13-5067) engaged in a Combat Air Patrol;
  • a USAF KC-135R (reg. 63-8878 – callsign CASA20) tasked with in-flight refuelling of the fighters;
  • a NATO Boeing E-3A (reg. LX-N90450 – callsign MAGIC01) tasked with airspace surveillance
