USAF mission in Libya

Share
Share

Around 16:00 CEST, an USAF Boeing C-17A (reg. 07-7178) landed at NAS Sigonella. So far, nothing unusual.

The C-17A, however, came from Misrata, Libya, where it had landed around 12:30 from Ramstein AB.

This is not the first time we trace USAF flights to Misrata but they usually came from and returned to Ramstein. In recent days, however, it is the second flight to travel this unusual route.

The reasons for the mission remain unknown.
