Long mission for a Canadian Orion

An RCAF Lockheed CP-104 (reg. 140114) is returning to Sigonella AB after a mission over the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Orion took off from Sigonella this morning at about 09:30 CEST and after a 10-hour mission is returning to its home base.

It is interesting to note that for some weeks now (well after the start of the war in Ukraine) the tracks of NATO maritime patrol aircraft are disappearing in the area of Crete because the ADS-B transponders are switched off approximately in that area.
