The Italian Air Force Beechcraft B.350ER SPYDR (MM62300) left around 11:45 CEST Paphos airport, Cyprus. The aircraft is returning Italy after almost two weeks spent in Cyprus (the aircraft has arrived in Paphos on 29 April).

In these two weeks we’ve tracked regular flight between Italy and Cyprus operated by the other Italian Air Force Beechcraft B350 (MM62317). This aircraft is used to provide logistical support to its “twin”.

We do not have complete records of his missions, but from the fragments that are visible probably the aircraft has performed a surveillance mission over the Eastern Mediterranean, probably between the island of Cyprus and Syria/Lebanon. During the flight the aircraft switched off the ADB-S transponder so it is not possible to know exactly in which area the Beech operated.

In the sea area east of Cyprus several Russian Navy vessels are reported.
