Poseidons monitoring Odesa

Yesterday afternoon we’ve tracked a new mission of a USN Boeing P-8A departed from NAS Sigonella over the Black Sea.

After a long suspension (since the beginning of the war in Ukraine), in the last few days we have recorded several new Poseidons missions off the Bulgarian and Romanian coast (the first one was on 12 April).

Coincidentally (or not?), the missions were resumed just before the sinking of the cruiser Moskva.

Most probably they are monitoring the situation in the Black Sea in front of Odesa to understand the intentions of the Russian fleet regarding a possible landing near the Ukrainian city.
