A busy afternoon and evening for Aviano’s F-16s.
While a couple is returning after a Combat Air Patrol over Romania (only one of the two aircraft, callsign VIPER41, is trackable), another pair took off for Romania to carry out the same mission (only VIPER51 is visible here).
This is not the first time we have tracked them but each time they were straight or over Romania. We can say that this is the area of competence assigned to the F-16s based at Aviano AB.
