Military traffic over the Ionian Sea

The Ionian Sea is crowded again this morning.

An USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 10-2045 – callsign FORTE11) left NAS Sigonella to carry out a new mission over the Ukrainian theatre.

Meanwhile, a USNavy Boeing P-8A is carrying out a maritime patrol mission as part of Exercise Dynamic Manta 2022.

At the same time a Hellenic Air Force EMB-145 AEW&C (reg. 729 – callsign OURAN31) is returning to Elefsis AB after a surveillance mission over the Ionian Sea (probably also for Dynamic Manta).
