The week began with a serie of new surveillance missions in the Ukrainian theatre.
This morning, two different Global Hawks took off from Sigonella: the first, USAF (reg. 09-2039, callsign FORTE11) is carrying out a mission in the north of Ukraine: the second, NATO (reg. MM-AV-SA0017), is carrying out its mission over the Black Sea.
A USAF Boeing E-8C (reg. 95-0121 – callsign REDEYE6) from Ramstein AB is also conducting a surveillance mission over northern Ukraine.
