Close Encounters in the eastern Mediterranean

The French Navy published this interesting radio communication between the French Navy frigate Forbin (D620) and the Russian Navy frigate Admiral Grigorovich (745).

The frigate Forbin is part of the CSG of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle currently sailing in the eastern Mediterranean.

The Russian ship is following the French formation during its navigation and during the communication it is asked to maintain a safe distance of 10 miles from the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.
