IRINI mission for German Navy Orion

A German Navy Lockheed P-3C CUP (reg. 60+08 – f/n GNY4530) has departed this morning at 07:37 CET from NAS Nordholz, northern Germany.

The aircraft is now in flight to Sigonella AB where it will make a techinical stop. Then the “Orion” will perform a patrol mission mission over the central mediterranan Sea operating as IRINI asset.

Usually the aircraft remains in the area of operations 2/3 hours
