USAF Globemaster in Benghazi

An USAF Boeing C-17A “Globemaster” (callsign RCH181, reg. 08-8204) left Ramstein AB, Germany, on 15th July at 20:49 CEST and follow one of the usual routes followed by previous flights to Libya. The aircraft, as seen in similar past flights didn’t enter into Italian FIR.

The aircraft disappeared from all tracking site around 22:00 CSET over central Mediterranean sea.

At 00:29 CEST the Globemaster is reappeared off Libya in flight westbound and finally landed in Ramstein around 03:30.

The nature of these flights remains unknown.
