This morning at dawn, the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle (R-91) returned to Toulon, its base port, thus completing with its carrier strike group and its airborne group, the Clemenceau 21 mission.

Since February, the Strike Group has sailed in the Mediterranean, in the Arab-Persian Gulf and in the Indian Ocean. She participated twice in Operation Inherent Resolve to fight Daesh and in in the last few days she has carried out some exercises with HMS Queen Elizabeth off southern France.
