Aegean mission for a Turkish Navy C-72

A new mission into Athens FIR for a Turkish Navy aircraft.

At 15:51 CEST a Turkish Navy aircraft, an ATR C-72MPA (callsign MARTI18, reg. TCB-752) left NAS Canakkale. The aircraft entered into Athens FIR (flight information region) off Dardanelles.

The plane continued its flight over Aegean Sea southbound. For nearly three hours the aircraft flew from north to south over the Aegean Sea (FL1250) however, avoiding entering the Greek air space.

The final destination is the airport of Dalaman.

These missions are usually made without the authorisation of Greek ATC.
