USAF Globemaster in Benghazi

An USAF Boeing C-17A “Globemaster” (callsign RCH228, reg. 09-9205) left Ramstein AB, Germany, yesterday at 16:23 CET and follow one of the usual routes followed by previous flights to Libya. The aircraft, as seen in similar past flights didn’t enter into Italian FIR.

The aircraft disappeared from all tracking site around 19:06 CET over central Mediterranean sea.

At 22:46 CET the Globemaster is reappeared off Libya in flight westbound and finally landed in Ramstein at 01:51 CET.

The nature of the flight remains unknown.
