Today we have outlined two distinct missions that have affected Libya.

The first concerns a new reconnaissance flight conducted by a NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4D (reg. MT AV-SA-0016) that took off from Sigonella.

The drone left Sigonella around 09:00 CET and headed for Libya switched off its transponder entering into Tripoli FIR

This morning an Italian Air Force Lockheed Martin C-130J (reg. MM62180 – callsign IAM4667) of the Italian Air Force left Pisa AB (at 11:09 CET) for Misurata. This is a MIASIT flight in support of the Italian military hospital in Misurata.

This time, at the counter of last week (see here) we have not tracked other Italian aircraft besides the C-130J.

The Hercules is landed again in Pisa at 16:44 CET.
